My name is Laurel, and I bring over 20 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I began my journey in early childhood care at a young age through babysitting and assisting in daycare programs, which sparked a lifelong passion for supporting children’s growth and development.

I was born in Kansas City and later moved to Spokane, where I was raised alongside my three brothers. I graduated high school in 2011 and earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, strengthening my knowledge of early childhood education and best practices in child development.

As the oldest of more than 15 siblings, leadership and caregiving have always been central roles in my life. These early experiences shaped my nurturing approach and deep commitment to creating safe, structured, and supportive environments for children.

I currently live with my wife and our dog, and we recently became foster parents. Providing stability, encouragement, and care to children and families is both a professional commitment and a personal calling. My long-term goal is to open a group home that offers a safe, welcoming space for children in need of additional support and for families seeking reliable care.

I am dedicated to fostering positive relationships, promoting social-emotional growth, and ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed
