Hello! My name is Lisa McKenzie, and I’m currently on an exciting journey exploring my passion for photography through an online school. There’s something truly magical about freezing moments in time through the lens. As Eudora Welty beautifully said, “A photograph keeps a moment from running away.” Life is filled with so many precious moments, and I’m thrilled to be capturing them alongside my husband of nearly twenty years and our three children. Our oldest has just graduated from college and recently tied the knot with his best friend, making this chapter in life even more special!
Before we settled in the beautiful Republic, Wa, I had the joy of teaching middle school math. My love for learning drives me to believe that education can be both enjoyable and enriching when we have the right tools and support. This belief is one of the many reasons I’m thrilled to be part of CISNEW.
