Mitch Russell moved to Spokane in 2018 after teaching abroad for three years. Since moving to this beautiful city, he has worked with the kids of this community in the capacity of counselor, mentor, and teacher after receiving his WA state teaching certificate from Central Washington University in 2020. Now, as a Communities in Schools Site Coordinator in the West Valley School District, he continues to work with kids from varying backgrounds and with varying needs. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading books about supernatural occurrences, and NY Times word puzzles.
