There are as many ways to volunteer with Communities In Schools of Spokane County!
As a volunteer you will join us to keep students in school and on track to graduate on time. There are many ways to share your time and talent:
PrimeTime Mentor
Just 30 minutes to one hour a week provides a positive influence, encouragement, and hope for young people trying to overcome challenges. To learn more about our PrimeTime Mentoring Program click here.
PrimeTime Tutor
Students can make great strides with extra academic support in reading and math. For more information on becoming a tutor, contact Kelley Hinrichs at kelley@cisspokane.org
Food Distribution Volunteer
We need community volunteers to deliver food to families in need. This is a contactless option and can be done on a reoccurring or short term scheduled basis. Please see volunteer needs below:
- Shaw Middle School: Food delivery approximately 1.5 hours/week
- 1 Driver needed Monday
- 1 Driver needed Tuesday
- 1 Driver needed Friday
- Garry Middle School: Food delivery approximately .5 hours/week
- 3 Drivers needed Thursday
